Did anyone else think Moby was sort of being a jackass when introducing a Michelle Branch song saying "Michelle Branch never heard of her but her song is..." WTF, Moby.

I haven't watched that, but sheesh. Some celebrities (and people in general) can just be...rude. And tactless. It's ridiculous. How can anyone honestly say they have never heard of her, anyway? If someone said that to me I would be shocked.

aw silly you guys are worked up over nothing. possibly due to dwayne not finishing the sentence!! hahahaha. sure he said he didnt know who she was but he DID say her song was good.
and so what? why should he know who she is? hes a 42 year old dj in a completely different genre, and she hasnt been around in the past few years. and when she was around, she wasnt the biggest superstar ever.
and lets say for some reason he was trying to be rude: i want to direct you to the hilary duff thread where everyone is flipping s***s about how hilary deserves to be dissed by michelle because shes nowhere near as good and at least michelle is being honest blah blah. blah. same. thing.
and so what? why should he know who she is? hes a 42 year old dj in a completely different genre, and she hasnt been around in the past few years. and when she was around, she wasnt the biggest superstar ever.

Eh, it all depends where you live, also. Where I live, Moby is pretty damn famous and I'm shocked when people DO know who Michelle Branch is.
