My favorite movies are equally broad. As for comics, I really cant get enough of Superman or Spider-Man. Books? Well, I really love The Dresden Files. Its my favorite series at the moment.

it comes on at 8. But even if you died, Ned can bring you back. YOU JUST CAN NEVER TOUCH EVER AGAIN.

Ned belongs with Chuck. It's the main basis of the show. Olive is there to make it even more difficult for Ned. Because he can touch Olive, but she can never touch his heart. Metaphorically.

I've been counting down, lol. It comes on at 8/7c. I'm kinda upset that they're making me choose between Bones and Pushing Daisies, but Bones will always be online the next day wink.gif

LOVE LOVE LOVE the premiere! I nearly pissed myself laughing when Olive started in with the "Sound of Music" singing and then called the head nun "Mother Superior." And half-naked Ned was definitely a highlight. I can't believe Chuck's dad was playing the aunts like that, either, lol.

I cannot WAIT for the next episode smile.gif

So I sat down last night, and, with nothing else to do, watched the entire first season on DVD. "Pie-lette" to "Corpsicle." I tried watching the special features, but started getting sleepy. I had forgotten how AMAZING the first season had been. The second season has some awfully big shoes to fill, and so far they're doing a good job with it wink.gif

Oh wow, that's a shame. People who didn't watch this show really missed out. They had a great cast. Very original concept to say the least. I wonder if Bryan Fuller will try to shop it to another network and/or make a movie sometime in the future....

Apparently things that might be in the works include finishing storylines out in comic books and a movie that might be stand alone from the series... neither of which would satisfy me a whole lot. I really hop they can move it.

I wouldn't count on this show coming back as a series. It's very rare that a canceled show gets a second life. I just read an article that says there is going to be a major cliffhanger when the last episode airs. That is going to suck, but not much you can do about it. I have my theories on why this show didn't last, but i'm afraid posting them here might tick people off more than anything laugh.gif It has more to do with the tv viewing public than the actual show. There was nothing wrong with Pushing Daisies. People just can't handle really far out, creative ideas like this show. Even I have to admit that it was a little hard to digest, but in a good way. There was a certain charm to this show that you don't see on tv very often. That is one of the things I liked about it. I'm sure the production costs for a fairly low rated show had something to do with it as well. I'm sure the production costs were sky high for this program. So yeah, I don't want to get into too much detail on it, but thats how I feel. All things considered, I would be happy this show existed as long as it did. I'm sure it wasn't cheap to produce.
