Apparently things that might be in the works include finishing storylines out in comic books and a movie that might be stand alone from the series... neither of which would satisfy me a whole lot. I really hop they can move it.

Ugh, that would really suck. I think a movie or comic book would ruin it. I'm still hoping it'll magically get saved/moved/whatever. At least for another season (Jericho got an extra one, after all!).

The day the last episode airs is the day I quit watching ABC. Seriously. They blew it with this amazing show. Hopefully, Bryan Fuller will be able to continue with the Piemaker and the girl named Chuck in another way. It just sucks that it ends in a cliffhanger sad.gif Oh, I'll miss the Piehole!

Actually, I have. I tried watching the season premiere, and just could not get in to it for some reason. I've tried other episodes, and this season is not catching my attention. It's a shame, though, because I loved the first 4 seasons *shrug*

I barely even watch Grey's Anatomy anymore...I don't think I'll miss ABC.

You know, i'm not too surprised. I found the first two or three episodes of the season to be a little boring, but I do think the past two or three have been good. I'm going to keep watching it. I think it's going to take some time for the show to get good because they more or less wiped the slate clean. I'm still not sure if they should have taken that route, but if the episodes continue to get better I will keep watching. Btw, I thought the season 4 finale was awesome. Probably the second best episode of the series behind the supermarket episode from season 3.

I could never get into Grey's Anatomy, but I do think they tried the spinoff too soon. I'm sure that had an affect on the chemistry and storylines on the show.

As for ABC, DH is the only show I watch. I'd be more upset if they took away NBC. I watch 4 shows on that network!

I agree with you on the Grey's Anatomy spinoff. It was way too soon. I've tried watching Private Practice, and just can't get in to it, either. My sister loves it, though, which is surprising.

The only shows I watch religiously are PD and Bones. Once PD is over, Bones will be my one and only, so as long as Fox doesn't screw it up, I'll be quite happy (but I keep having flashbacks to Arrested Development, which doesn't help to calm my nerves, lol)

I must admit that your fascination with Bones has intrigued me. I haven't gotten around to checking it out though. It sucks that PD got canceled though. That was a really good show.

Other than DH and PD, i've been watching Heroes, Chuck, The Office, and 30 Rock. I think my job has had an influence on me because i'm always looking for new shows to watch laugh.gif

Bones is awesome. It's a forensics show like CSI, but ridiculously better cool.gif

I don't watch anything on NBC or CBS. I don't even watch House that much anymore, mainly because I'm so freakin' busy these days.

Busy, huh? I guess you are getting close to finals right now. How long does your internship last? How is it going? What have you been doing at your internship? Sorry if i'm being too nosey. Just curious wink.gif

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ohmy.gif

i think it should just end and rest in peace. i almost feel like it cant be continued in any other form with out being spoiled and ruined. kind of like when they try to make sequels for amazing movies that dont need sequels. or hollywood classic remakes. etc etc. its just such a great show. no one touch it! i wont be mad as long as it ends well and everything (chuck and ned must touch somehow. chuck must see her aunts. chuck and lily must begin mother daughter relationship. emmerson must find his daughter. ned must get closure with father. olive must.. get.. something wonderful.. idk..) comes to a nice conclusion.

........i dont know why i used a spoiler tag.

idk probably a good idea for people who haven't seen all the episodes up to now.

But I completely agree. A movie wouldn't be good. If it's "stand alone" from the series it's no good for those of us who loved the series! If it's just to wrap up storylines and such it seems like it would be really rushed etc. And we totally need to have all those things happen! I'm DYING to know more about li'l gumshoe!

Also I think it's a real shame that something like this should be given up because of money issues. Honestly, with all the other generic samey crap that's on tv these days one original show can't get a look in because it's expensive? Bulls***! TV producer people (or whatever they're called) need to open their minds and get their act together. No wonder this is just about the only thing I really watch on tv.

Excellent show. So of course it gets cancelled. This show got screwed by the writers strike too.

I agree with you Scott. I think the writers strike affected a lot of good shows from last season. Atleast Pushing Daisies got a second season. Some good shows from that era didn't last that long. I think they are airing the remaining episodes sometime this summer (if they haven't already). I'm pretty sure they will be on the season 2 boxed set. I don't know if this is news to any other fans here, but that is what I know.

Yeah. they just aired here. I caught one episode, and only because my gf called me all excited that it was on.

i am ready to discuss the finale with you (or anyone!), i finally caught it last weekend

i liked how it wrapped, but i thought they wrapped it WAYYYYY TOOOOO quickly. they should have devoted more than five minutes to explaining everyone's fate. it really disappointed me. but the idea was really sweet of course. i got teary of course.

edit: oh wait i just read that you haveNT watched it yet. i really need to stop skimming and start reading. well maybe thats changed in a couple of weeks, maybe youve seen them after all. though honestly whats under my spoiler tag isnt really that spoiler-y.

I just finished it. And now I'm really sad sad.gif

Yeah I'm disappointed with how quick everything was wrapped up too but at least they got wrapped up. Couldn't help crying when Chuck and Ned showed up at the aunt's house. I guess it's nice that it's ended that way but... well so much more could've happened. I will miss it more than anything

WAIT! I just remembered things

Where did Chuck's dad go? What happened to Ned's dad's whole coming back thing. They just kind of pretended none of that happened
