My other Eliza topic being dead before its birth I am opening another one... with hopefully more success since there are many Whedon's fans here!
So I have just heard about this new show... but it looks like a big deal! What do you think of it? Have you more information than the little trailer I have seen?
I cannot wait to see it (first episode in January)...

In my opinion each of his series were better than the last...I hope Whedon keeps up the trend.

I don't know much about Whedon's work actually, except Buffy that I watched from the first to the last episode! tongue.gif
What else has he done?

Yeah I knew Angel... I tried to watch some a long time ago, but a Buffy-like without Buffy wasn't that fun in my opinion... sad.gif
Then I have only seen the trailer of Firefly, and it seems pretty boring... Maybe I should find some time to watch them... unsure.gif

Check out Firefly if you can. There isn't much of it (only 14 episodes) afterall and it really starts picking up around the 4th episode. From then on its pure classic. Episodes like "Out of Gas" and "Objects in Space" are dramatic masterpieces. Finally the movie Serenity serves as one of the greatest series finales of all time. I guarantee you'll be entertained, thrilled and smitten by the time its over. I will personally send you a refund for the rental or DVD if you aren't any of the above-seriously.

I have only watched the first two episodes... and it is not bad, but it sounds like familiar to me! I am explaining to you: I feel like Joss Whedon has stolen all the ideas from a classic anime, Cowboy Bebop. I have only seen the first half of it (since I could not find the other part at that time) and I love it (should probably see the end one day)! The situation is very similar although there are less characters in the anime... but some of them are even like in Firefly in a certain way. And the music is definitely the same style... the plots as well (like this second episode with the medicines)!
Check out Cowboy Bebop if you don't know it! If you like Firefly you'll probably love Cowboy Bebop!!!

Well this is disastrous, FOX have moved the show from it's original airing out of 24 to Friday airing after the relocated Terminator show.
