Does anyone watch True Blood? I have heard nothing but good comments about it, I really wanted to see it but it was only shown on paytv here. They are selling the dvd's for $30 this week so I am tempted to buy it. Is it worth it?

True Blood is based on a book and written/produced by the same guy who wrote Six Feet Under and the movie American Beauty. 1st season was very good, and 2nd season is so far, on par with the 1st.

I love True Blood!! It does, in my opinion, have some bad accents. (im from south louisiana, so i can say that) I think its very addicting. I have a huge Season 2 poster hung up on my wall biggrin.gif

Haha I picked up on the accents too! Sam the bar owner is from the area so his accent is right on and I don't think Ryan's is bad, although he slips into his aussie one occasionally!

I am 4eps in and I LOVE this show! I am so glad I took a punt and bought it. Can't wait to get Season 2.
