On a professional level, the label and I have collectively been trying to figure this out and have decided the best thing for the album is to push it back a bit so we can put my team back together and give the record the proper attention and promotion it deserves. Everyone is so fired up for this record to be out! We can't wait for everyone to see (and hear) all the hard work we have all put into this. It's my opinion that only then will you understand why we have taken so much time making this perfect. I need you guys to hang in there and not lose any faith. The album is coming out as soon as we get this all situated. But I need your support and your understanding.
Well, I've been keeping pretty busy. Yesterday I had a show with Dierks Bentley for his charity Miles and Music for Kids. It's a great cause benefiting the local Children's Hospital and I was so happy to be a part of it. I'm really excited because Dierks has asked me to open up some dates of his in the beginning of November which will be a lot of fun. Right now I'm doing a bunch of radio promo dates and working on getting the band together. Here are a few that are coming up. Keep in mind because they are radio shows, these are acoustic stripped down dates and usually run about 30 minutes. There are often other artists on the bill as well:
Wednesday, October 14th: Dayton, OH http://www.mix1077.c...racure2009.html
Friday, October 16th: Louisville, KY WXMA http://themaxfm.com/...er-2009/5316934
Sunday, October 18th: Wilkes Barre, PA WGGY http://www.froggy101...ges/5251147.php
Tuesday, October 20th: Akron, OH WQMX http://www.wqmx.com/bosombuddies.asp
Friday, October 23rd: Boston, MA WBMX http://www.mix1041.c...es/5385043.php?
Dates with Dierks:
Thursday, November 5th: Poplar Bluff, MO Black River Coliseum
Friday, November 6th: Knoxville, TN Knoxville Civic Coliseum
Saturday, November 7th: Chicago, IL Libertyville
I'll let you know more shows as they get confirmed. Until then...
Thanks for hanging in there! xo, M

Michelle, I would wait another 10 years for this album to come out because it's worth it. You're amazing and one of my favorite artists ever!

I'd like to follow you in every little show you do but it's impossible sinc I'm in Barcelona most part of the week.
Thanks.
Words have found their way to stay in and they don't let out feelings.

I'm not completely sure if I can make any of those shows you posted, but if you do a show close enough to the Wasington DC area I will definitely come out. Hang in there and remember that we are all behind you and support you!

You've put a lot of work, a lot of heart and soul, into your
new album, and it's important that it's properly promoted when
it is released.
We look forward to being able to pre-order when the time comes!
Personally, I can't wait to see you perform this Friday in Louisville!
It's gonna be awesome!!!
I love "Sooner or Later" -- I just keep playing it over and over on
my laptop and on my iPod.
--see you soon, Mike

Can't wait for the Louisville show on Friday!
Hey Mike, I was wondering if you'd make it down to the show or not. I'm sure I'll see you there.

Everyone should understand the hard work that has been put into this album, and trust that the people behind it know what they're doing, and will release it when it can have the proper support behind it, in order to ensure it's success. I'll cross my fingers that it's sooner, rather than later, but either way, I know that I'll be supporting it, and Michelle, no matter what!

The Guns N' Roses fans had to wait 14 years to listen to the record. I waited for 14 years.
So I'm a little bit experimented in the waiting thing, lol.
it's funny because the record sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide but still is considered as a "failure" because Appetite For Destruction sold 30 million copies and Use Your Illusion 1 & 2 around 18 million copies each back in the days when the band was probably almost as popular as Michael Jackson. You know, Guns N' Roses were ****ING HUGE at that time. They were a Led Zeppelin kind of thing, just Mega. But still, 3.5 million copies is not that bad nowadays.
We ain't in the 80's/90's anymore! people don't buy CD's anymore.
