Hey there everyone,

I have recently gotten obsessed with Long Goodbye (can't wait to hear the album version) and I was wondering whether anyone has figured out the chords to it?

Thank you!

PS: I hope this is the right board for this, if not SORRY! I am an annoying newbie! please let me know where it should have gone!

I haven't really found one yet :) Will surely share them with you when I do :) Maybe some of our awesome guitar players at the boards are already working on a transcription hehe.

I'm still not sure if the lyrics are 100%, but the chords *should* be. I'm on vacation right now and don't have a guitar with me so I did the rest (I started it a while ago) from memory and watching videos. Hopefully it's right1

Bm D A x2

      Bm D
Empty cup, broken plate
          A
All those things you never say
          Bm
Don't you know by now
      D A
I can take it like it is
           Bm D
The sky is dark, full of rain
             A
And it ain't ever gonna change
              Bm D
Words are are written on your face
          A
Go on and say it
          G
Go on and say it
          A
Go on and say it

          G Bm
Don't you give me that long goodbye
      D G
Don't stick around and make it worse
      G D
Don't leave me hanging on all night
         A
To every pretty little word
         G D
Don't you drag me down that road
             Bm G
Of miles and miles and miles of hurt
          G Bm D A
Don't you give me that long goodbye

        Bm D
Make it fast, make it sweet
         A
Pull the world out from under my feet
          Bm D
Don't you worry a thing about me
            A
'Cause I'll make it
            Bm D
Give me the truth, I'll understand
             A
Things don't work out like you planned
       Bm D
And my heart is in your hands
          A
Go on and break it
         G
Oh I can take it, yeah
      A
I can take it

          G Bm
Don't you give me that long goodbye
      D G
Don't stick around and make it worse
      G D
Don't leave me hanging on all night
         A
To every pretty little word
         G D
Don't you drag me down that road
             Bm G
Of miles and miles and miles of hurt
          G D A
Don't you give me that long goodbye

  G D
I promise I won't cry
          A G
You won't see one teardrop fall
      G D
I'm a big girl after all
      A
I can take it
      G
I can take it
I can take it

          G Bm
Don't you give me that long goodbye
      D G
Don't stick around and make it worse
      G D
Don't leave me hanging on all night
         A
To every pretty little word

          G Bm
Don't you give me that long goodbye
      D G
Don't stick around and make it worse
      G D
Don't leave me hanging on all night
         A
To every pretty little word
         G D
Don't you drag me down that road
             Bm G
Of miles and miles and miles of hurt
          G
Don't you give me that long goodbye
          G Bm D A
Don't you give me that long goodbye oh, oh
         Bm D A
Long goodbye, long goodbye
     Bm
Long goodbye

and it's only me empty-handed, with a childish grin and a camera

thanks krista. Have you tabbed out Through the radio? I'm in love with that song.
Walls are tired of holding the same old ceilings.
Words have found their way to stay in and they don't let out feelings.

I haven't really tried yet... I want to but the picking sounds kind of complicated, and I'm pretty sure it's down a full step or some kind of alternate tuning, I hate retuning my guitar like that :( Besides, I figure if Michelle can't play it I can't either haha

Do you happen to have figured out the chords to more songs off Everything Comes and Goes already?
