let's talk movies! I'm a film student so I'm basically addicted...

Junebug. Saw it last night, I loved it but I cried my eyes out. The storyline is quite simple but it's so heartfelt it touches you. Those characters are amazingly portrayed (especially preggy Ashley, by Amy Addams).

Good luck with film school, people think its easy, but its actually quite a bit of work. Especially once you start actually filming.

Anyway, I got Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic the other day from netflix. It was funny. I like her.

Last movie I saw in the theater was... 3:10 to Yuma which was excellent and I think even better than the original.

thanks! Yeah, I know, people think it's easy and it's NOT, but I love it and I can't see myself doing any other stuff. I've been filming for a few years now (the degree here takes six years) so I'm used to it, in fact, I have to shoot in a few hours.

Hmmm, before Junebug I saw The Scarlett Empress, which swept me off my feet. Marlene Dietrich is one of those icons you have to adore. The script is amazing. Bittersweet but real. And the shoots are beautifully done.

30 days of night. Wasnt bad, but felt let down by Sam. Didnt really convey any sort of urgency or time. There didnt seem to be much reaction from the townsfolk in the initial part of the film.

Michael Clayton...despite one severe plot flaw, I thought it was quite good.

Good Luck Chuck was better than I thought it would be.

Superbad was just HILARIOUS!

Anyone see Across the Universe? I wanted to see it, but my roommate who is a huge Beatles fan said it was disaappointing.

Havoc 2: Normal Adolescence behavior

It's with Amber Tamblyn, it's basically about Wendy(Amber) and her friends who try to avoid the heartless world of random hookups and friends-with-benefits by spending all their time together. When she meets Sean, Wendy is torn between her genuine affection and desire for him and her commitment to her friends, especially her best friend Billie: and Billie isn't interested in losing her friends

I thought it was a really good movie, I'd give it a 9/10
