Hey guys, long time no update. I felt it was pointless to try an update if I didn’t have any news. I’m happy to report that I have a lot for you today.
As you know, even though Everything Comes and Goes has technically been finished for 2 years now, I’ve continued to write through the entire process. In fact, sometimes writing was the only comfort for the frustrating situation I was going through. So now here I am with over 20 songs that I am extremely attached to. What’s a girl to do? Well, as a “thank you” to my fans for being (or at least trying to be) patient, I’m releasing ALL the songs.

Everything Comes and Goes will now be released as a 6 song bonus album both digitally and at retail. The reason I’ve decided to use that title for the bonus album is because at this point, the name, the artwork, it’s all years old. I want you guys to have something new in your hands. That’s where the album comes in. I have added a batch of new songs into the mix, picked my favorite and made a new album from it. One of the newer songs is a song called Different Kind of Country. It’s a song about growing up in Arizona. It tells my story. It’s only appropriate that it be the title track for the “new” album. I’ve gone in to cut these last few songs with Paul Worley who produced My, Oh My for The Wreckers album and is one of my favorite producers in Nashville.

I’m reluctant to give you any details as to when the full album and bonus album will be coming out because as we all know these dates change. I know a lot of you are frustrated because the music is out and unless you go to a show, you’re unable to hear it. Believe me, I feel the same. I have asked WB to make it available online through michellebranch.com as soon as possible. I’m dying for you to hear this music!

Thank you Michelle, thanks for this update. You don't have to feel sorry for anything, we totally understand the situation.
Now we're sooo happy that this EP is coming out, hopefully we'll have the chance to buy it in Italy too.

I'm glad things are set into motion and this is all finally happening. I cannot WAIT to be able to buy ECAG and I am sure the new album will be incredible!

Yes, that's the best part! We actually get to hear all of this stuff instead of it driving us crazy that it's unreleased, like SotE.

Yay, Michelle! This makes me so happy. Even though the process has been frustrating for you, I think you have taken a "sad song and made it better" for sure! You took a frustrating situation and are making the best out of it.

I can't wait to hear your bonus album and your newest one, as well. : )

Michelle, I have missed your voice SO much. Thanks so much for releasing the bonus album for us. From what I've been able to hear so far, your songs sound amazing. Please never give up on music. We'll stay frustrated together!
