I LOVE this show. I could spend forever talking about it! There hasn't been a new episode since November, but now that the strike is over, we'll actually get some new stuff. I am realllly excited for April 10th. I simply cannot wait!

I enjoyed the new episode; it's definitely gotten a little over the top lately but I'm just so relieved the episode's have started back up again. I don't like how Pam has gotten all glam though. I understand making a little more effort with your appearance when in a relationship but Pam probably has 5 minutes to get ready for work in the morning and how perfectly curled her hair is now really bothers me

How many series has the American one done now? Is the plot different from the UK one? It used to be sort of similar (not the same though)

The plot is pretty much completely different now. The first season (especially the pilot) was mostly recycled jokes from the British one but it was only six episodes long. It really came into it's own in the second season and one of the reasons I love it is that all of the office workers have developed personalities whereas in the UK one they were just extra's with a few lines. Thinking about it now, I'm not too sure there's currently anything in the American one that even remotely resembles the British one, even the main characters are totally different. As a stubborn fan of the original I'm really pleased with how the American one has come along, I refused to support it at first but it's so brilliantly written and all the actors are adorable.
I hear they're making a spin-off though? And that they might take Andy? I love Andy and hate spin-offs so I'm not too sure if I like that idea but I'll try and reserve my judgement until it starts.

I saw a few episodes of the first season of the UK version. Not so funny.

I like Steve Carell better than Ricky Gervais, but I wouldn't say it's not as funny.

I really liked the scenes, especially the Ping Pong episode! I saw clips of it! Hilariouusss.
I'm probably going to buy the seasons later too. I've never seen it on TV yet either.
It definitely looks worth buying from what I've seen tho!

The Office.. wow. I love it. I have the seasons on DVD and a ton of episodes on my Zune. I love all of the awkward office romances. But I'm wondering how they're going to keep it interesting once/if Jim & Pam get engaged. I mean.. one of the main things in The Office are all of the problems Jim and Pam have as an un-couple, but once they become "official", it'll be like.. now what? No suspense, ya know?
And I agree with Anna. I don't like that Pam is all glammed up now. I liked it better when she was more realistic. Seriously, who has time to curl their hair perfectly every morning before work? : P
And Sept. 25th, one hour season premiere! Yeah!

Words that I'm hearing are starting to get old.

The opening was priceless.
Michael: I want another try. Here we go. *runs as car goes by* Thirty-one! Thirty-one!
Stanley: That was the car.
Michael: I was ahead of the car. Thirty-one is my new number.
Oscar: Thirty-one is humanly impossible.
Michael: Go, Oscar. Thirty-one is my new number.
Oscar: That's impossible.
Michael: Beat it!
Love it.
