hey hey, hows it goin all? didnt see a Buffy thread in here so i thought i would stop by and post a wee bit on it. I will start off by askin if there are any other buffy geeks in here? or is it just me? then i will bounce right into a top five episodes.
in no particular order:

1. Angel
2. The Gift
3. Once More With Feeling
4. Tabula rasa (for obvious reasons)
5. Becoming Part 2

anyone care to share their top fives?

Dude (ha, pun intended), you are so not alone. I'm a pathetic addict of the Buffyverse. It's actually how I found out about M. Top 5 though? That's gonna be hard.

I am also a total geek when it comes to Buffy related things.
I'm still watching Angel though, I was only young when it started and I kinda stopped watching it
(I don't know how) but yeah I'm on season 5 so don't tell me what happens pleeaase! lol

Actually I don't watch Buffy, But as Luck would have it, The TV just happened to be left on when 'Tabula Rasa' episode was on. I just happened to walk into the room when Michelle began singing 'goodbye to you', and thought to myself "she's got a good voice" - Of course I didn't know who she was then?

This was the first time I heard Michelle,
I guess I should thank Buffy for introducing me to Michelle. lol
I don't have a top five, but I would like to see "Tabula Rasa" again!

Buffy fan here. HUGE Joss Whedon fan. Loved Serenity and Firefly, too. Anyway....

1) The Wish (LEATHER WILLOW!!!!!!!)
2) Graduation Part 2 (made me cry at the end)
3) Wild at Heart (Willow's crying was so perfectly done)
4) Once More, with Feeling (Tara's "I'm Under Your Spell," the demon and Dawn duet, and the song about walking through a fire or something)
5) Grave (that last scene with Willow and Xander made me bawl)

Other mention-worthy episodes:

Hush, Pangs, The Prom, Something Blue, Restless, and The Body

EDIT: Oh, and the one with the mental hospital thing was an awesome one too. Can't remember what it was called again...

I totally forgot about Something Blue. I HATE season 4, but that and Hush are two of the only episodes I really like from that season. The whole initiative/Adam thing just annoyed me. And I don't like Riley much.

I like their musical episode...

I was really surprised when it started because the intro was different...

and I like the Mimes episode I can't remembe the title..
that's when none of the characters have voice and the whole episode was so quiet..
it makes me laugh actually when they where making hand signals..

and the actions of the creatures with their hands moving round and round and as if they
were floating in the air..
with faces like "the mask"

I'll try to search and update this for the episode title later..

Probably my favorite show ever. But it's been so long since I've watched it, that I probably couldn't list my favorites if I tried.

I think a Buffy/Angel-thon is necessary.

But I actually really liked season 4. I loved the idea of the gov't sticking their nose where they don't belong. And I thought there were a LOT of great episodes that season.

but seriously, I could go on, and on and on about Buffy! I agree, wasn't too keen on the Initiative storyline at all. My fave season is prob six, but I am partial to 2, and 7, and of course 1, oh and I cant leave out 3!!! haha all but the Initiative.

Is anyone keeping up with "Season 8" (the comics). I have only read 1-3 and I need to get the rest!

definitely the best show ever! (along with Angel obviously lol)
I don't think I could choose favorite episodes though there are sooo many!
although I have to say season 2 is probably my favorite season... but it is a close call.
and I have the comics but I'm waiting to finish watching season 5 of Angel before I start them =]

Dopplegangland yes has the best lines in it Anya and Willow are the funniest when paired up
I read the first volume of season 8 but im waiting for the second one to come out in june and might i just add Buffy comes out with it i saw on perez hiltons blogs of all places what do u guys think?

Others I love are: Once More With Feeling, Buffy Vs. Dracula, and End of Days/Chosen (Spuffy moments!)

I think I like the romance between Buffy and Spike more... It's like a forbidden and secret love. Very subtle. You can almost feel the love they had for each other without ever showing it! Now THAT'S a powerful love!!
