I'm a big time Smallville fan. I've been into Superman ever since I was a little kid in the early 1980's.
In fact I'm watching Lois and Clark on dvd while I'm writing this.

i was an addict back then...when the bittersweet clark and lana affair was off and on (i think it still is today) but it's mostly "off"...
im just really upset with what's happening between them...though i know in the end it would really be clark and lois anyway.
it's like sipping the drink from the straw but it's not really reaching your tongue...(weird analogy huh?

still loving MichelleThis season made me mad. Half the time Clark wasn't Clark. It was an awkward love affair with her and the phantom.
And how Lana was seeking revenge on Lex. I mean...wtf?

still loving MichelleYa know Clark and Lois are really supposed to be ALWAYS off and on. Lana is supposed to be the one Clark can always turn to to but never really can committ to for some reason. But yea yea I know, Smallville is supposed to be it's own spin on the mythology...but Lois can NEVER EVER EVER be a blonde!!!

Oh well...I don't like the kid playing Clark anyhow. He's a doophus....
When are the
Wonder Twins gonna visit Smallville?

I love Superman, I still love the show, and I'm kind of enamoured with Kara, but a theory I heard at a party once(well, more of a gripe) seems to be coming more true with every episode.
The theory/gripe is as follows:
"Eventually, Clark will be living in Metropolis, working for the Daily Planet, married to Lois, but STILL lack the costume and the ability to fly!"

really? i understand him...
he's got a great body, hell-0? he was chosen to play Clark...but really i have thought of this way back season 3 or 4 days that it just wont fit him i guess...considering now that the guy (sorry forgot your name) who played Clark in Superman Returns carried the suit pretty well...people would really give comparisons on the two.

Gough and Millar established that rule before Smallville had even begun filming. It's a show about Clark Kent, not Superman. Superman flies and wears the suit, not Clark.
It wasn't Clark who flew in the first episode of season 4, it was Kal-El while he was under Jor-El's influence.
I heard years ago that they had already envisioned the final scene to Smallville long ago, and that it would be Clark taking out the suit and starting to put it on by putting his legs into the tights, and then it would fade to black.
Whether or not this is true I don't know, but I've always liked the sound of it for a final scene.

Tonight's episode was awesome!! I heard that someone was gonna die, but i think that's in the next episode...dang 3 week breaks!! I was disappointed clark didn't try to fly though. Also poor lana, i mean i think she's kind of annoying (but actually pretty good this season), but i mean that's evil of braniac doing that to clark!
Overall great season!

while I understand the rules Gough and Millar set for the series, they're writing themselves into a corner, and it's hurting the character.
What is he? Afraid of heights? It's lame.

whoaaaa where'd you hear this?
and as for the tights "issue" lol the series is based on Clark's life in Smallville the suit doesnt come into play until he moves to the big city, gets a job at the daily planet etc. if he were to start wearing the suit during his whole young adulthood andwhatnot it wouldn't really go with the history of Superman, though they have been rewriting a lot of stuff XD but I agree he should fly but not wear the tights. Go go Lori Lemaris for the upcoming Smallville season! Unless the whole Indian/Shapeshifter episode arc was the jist of it... then I will be severely disappointed
